About the Adams County Lake Alliance
Starting in July, 2006, a small group began to meet, citizens and professionals, concerned with the well-being of Adams County lakes. These meetings were facilitated by the Adams County Land and Water Conservation Department and Cooperative Extension. Most of the 25 named lakes in the county have been represented. Based on positive results of such groups in 18 other Wisconsin Counties, we are getting organized, informally, to aid in the protection, preservation and restoration of Adams County Lakes.

  Meetings
Monthly meetings, are held on Saturdays at the Adams County Community Center on 569 North Cedar Street. All meetings are open to everyone including anglers, boaters, lake group board members, lake property owners, as well as county and state employees or officials who are interested in lake management and protection. Meeting schedule for meetings in 2007 (9 am, Saturdays) are: April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11 and November 8. Join us!

  Spring Regional Lakes Conferences
On May 10, 2008 we will sponsor, with the assistance of the Adams County Land and Water Conservation Department and Cooperative Extension, a day-long conference on lake management for non-experts, particularly aimed at citizens who function on lake group boards or in local government and have responsibilities for management of Adams County Lakes. A copy of the conference flyer will be posted here by April 1. Click Here to down load Conference flyer
